About Joes Auto

Joe’s Auto and Truck Repair is moving into the third generation of service. Started in 1980 by Joe Sr. and Joe Jr. A father and son team ready to work together as a team to spend more quality time with each other. They were very in tune to the needs of the Elmhurst, Bensenville and Addison areas.

Joe Sr. started as a Barber. Owning the Town & Country Barber Shop in Brentwood Commons Shopping Center. At Grand near York intersections. He was known as Joe the Barber, from 1960 to 1980. After retiring in 1980 he and Joe Jr. formed Joe’s Auto and Truck Repair also on Grand near York intersections. Joe felt it was time to set out to achieve his goal of working with his love and hobby of Auto Repair. Joe Sr. finely retired in 2013. After working Joe’s Auto and Truck Repair for 33 years.

Joe Jr. started Joe’s Auto and Truck Repair with his father in 1980. Joe is currently working the business as Manager and Tech also performing the duties of sales and Service Manager. Joe feels that when a customer calls with a question, they should be talking to someone with the knowledge that can direct or answer any questions they have. Joe is currently training his son Joseph to do auto and truck repairs. Joe currently works with young automotive prospects through High School Automotive programs. Joe started working for himself after building an original Boss 302 for the quarter mile race track. As the Boss 302 increased in value, Joe returned the car to it’s original factory showroom condition. His specialties are vintage car conversions, collector cars to high performance. He enjoys the challenges of engine diagnostics and light to medium truck repairs.

Troy started with Joe’s Auto and Truck Repair 15 years ago as young tech. Since that time Troy has become a very qualified Tech with a wide range of knowledge and experience. He enjoys the challenges of auto and truck repairs. His experience and quality performance are greatly appreciated by Joe and his customers.

Joseph will be Graduating from High School and going to College part time so he can work at the family business. He stated as a young boy just sweeping the floors. While working hard to become an experienced Tech. He understands the need for customer appreciation and business knowledge. His parents hope his degree will take Joe’s Auto and Truck Repair into the next generation and next levels of automotive repair services.
